Free Event Connects Kids with Nature
PEEC Day: Saturday, August 7, 2021

WHAT:Join Pocono Environmental Education Center for PEEC Day, a free event featuring nature-themed programs, games, and watershed activities for kids and their families. Earn a chance to win free prizes and vouchers for future PEEC programs. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

ABOUT:Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) in Dingmans Ferry, PA is a private 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with approximately 24,000 annual visitors. PEEC is located within the 77,000-acre Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area and, since 1971, has been the education partner of the National Park Service in this area.

 

Within driving distance of New York City and Philadelphia, PEEC’s 38-acre campus offers a variety of year-round options for visitors from private field trips and scout retreats to public hiking trails and nature programs.
