It’s that time of year again. The Effort United Methodist Church on Merwinsburg Road off Route 115 in Effort, will be having its semi-annual Chicken BBQ Seasoned Dinner.
Once again, our menu consists of the Roasted BBQ seasoned Chicken Half, baked potato, delicious corn and your choice of our secret recipe creamed cabbage (Cole slaw) or applesauce. Your meal also comes with a roll and wonderful homemade dessert.
Mark your calendar, Saturday, May 22nd from *1:00 pm until 6:00 pm. bring your appetite and come early! We are looking forward to seeing you here. Cost: is $10.00 for Adults, $5.00 for children 4-12 yrs., free for children 3 and under. *Take out orders only!
